Phasor Domain Studies

Phasor Domain studies includes Load Flow studies, Short Circuit studies & Dynamic Studies like Transient Analysis

Load Flow Studies

It is used by system planners to test new grid infrastructure development. It is also used to check system reinforcement in case of contingencies. Typically thermal and voltage capabilities on an electrical circuit or grid is tested. Analysis also include power factor tests to determine adequacy of voltage support, and transfer limit analysis to measure power injection capacity.

Short circuit Studies

It is used by system planners & designers to determine system fault level and switchgear short circuit rating & performance . It helps circuit breaker short time rating analysis for substations, and input to protection relay setting & coordination.
